YT is at it again, fighting ad blockers. I get warning messages that using ad blockers is a violation of their terms of service. lol, too bad.

My current ad blocker provides a workaround while they investigate YT's latest changes.

It started right around the first for me - I was joking that they started this shit again on the 1st because it is gay as fuck - and maybe I'm not wrong.

Are you using uBlock? I only had issues the first day and then yesterday got hit with another warning. I forced an update on filters and things have been working fine with no ads and the first day I paused it just on GP to let them work around YT's latest update and even though it was paused for some reason no ads were playing which was odd but good because I cannot stand those damn things. Good thing is, the uBlock team is constantly at it to fight those bastards.

Yeah man, definitely get uBlock as it is the best for blocking YT ads - if you have any questions, just hit me up.

I had it before, but just updated it. I have a few, and switch around to whatever seems to work best until it doens't

I use sTube but it only works on android TV's and is a bit of pain to install.
Is the app affected when you do updates on your TV bro'?

Looked into that approach a couple o' years ago and there seemed to be too-many gotchas.

Would love some sort of blocking for my TV. Vibe is absolutely-destroyed.

No - it's fine when the TV updates its firmware. There was a time about half a year ago when Youtube did something that broke it - but they had it back up and running about 3 days later. I also have installed it on an Amazon Firestick - whatever their good 4k one is called.... It runs android as well. That's because one of my TV's runs LG's WebOS and that isn't android... imo its interface is better than actual Youtube's.

Thanks bro'.

You reckon it'd work on a recent Sony TV then?

Thanks man.

I'll have to research it or if you can make the time, maybe you could spell out in bullet points what I need to do or sumpin'.

I'm used to keeping the remote on the coffee table next to my couch as I lie there so I can hit "skip" as soon as the oppormatunity arises. Now that it's cold one of my arms is like ice.

I sent you some pm's with some guides.

Yes it's freezing today and to top it off it just rained here just to make it more miserable.
