The Herbert is in the top 2 best amps I have ever owned.

Yes, but I have to say that the SE just wasn't for me.

Thanks. I like my SE. Over the years these two amps seem to get compared to each other. The one thing I don't like about the SE is that it's always just balls out metal. It can't unsaturate.

The Herbie is an incredible amp. Very clear and very versitile. I am still amazed at how many tonz I can get. The mid cut is a great feature. Some days I don't like the sound(mainly due to my brain malfunctioning) and simply walk over and make a few slight adjustments and its back in the groove.

It also cool that a guy can mix any power tube he wants. Crushing bottom end but I'm sure you are use to that with the SE.

I didn't think I would like the Diezel as much as I do but...............I do.

Yeah. I know you've been want to try a Herbert for a while. I've had the itch to get another lately too. Almost bought one a couple of weeks ago, but held off. Bought another Axe FX instead.

All I need now is to get the Herbert packed properly.

Should I remove the power tubes or leave them where they are?
