I am looking for an all in one solution to record band practice and gigs. I was looking at the Zoom Q4/Q8 and realized my camcorder (Sony HDRCX260V) is probably better at shooting video than any of these. I don't use it much for anything but the occasional family vacation. So would I better off with that and a decent external stereo mic or with a an all in one Zoom? Also what is a good external camcorder mic for a rock band under $200?
