Can the Einstein deliver tight metal sounds ?

I know the Einstein has very nice tones.
Channel1 from clean to mega is delicious , channel 2 has a lead that's so nice.

But ...
Can it also deliver tight brutal metal sounds ?

And how does the Einstein compare to a Mark 4 ?

It's not the same kind of tight superfast attack like VHTs, ENGLs and so on. I've played metal on mine but then again I favor more old school metal tones (think Iron Maiden, Black Sabbath etc).

While I do like "old school" metal too I should probably look for tighter metal sounds elsewhere ?

I think especially for those old-school sounds the einstein is perfect!

e.g. Iron Maiden recorded their new album with the einstein.....

Do you have proof of that ?

Your nick does it mean "to serve beer" ? :)
Bier is the same word in my country.

Yes, I´m the same guy from musikerboard...

Bierschinken is some type of ham, just like this....

:D :D It was typically served with beer, so it got it´s name.

A proof, hmm, I read it in an interview on the last month(?) issue of "guitar"....perhaps I could copy it if you don´t believe me :D
