First of all i have no Problems with my Herbert!

I use normaly Power Conditioner for my Equipment but i asked
myself would a EMI Filter like this FN 9260 be a emprovement to protect the Amp for Power Sources with many
"Noises" when no Power Conditioner is in use?
Price and Installation are not the Problem.
But of course i don't want to do something bad to the Herbert.

Best regards

That type isn't really gonna be so much use for big spikes and surges, those usually need some kind of varistor or gas discharge tube. Ones like that are more general RF filtering to stop noise from a few 10s of kHz up to a couple hundred MHz getting in, and also often fitted standard to some stuff more to stop noise getting out on devices with switch mode power supplies (and to meet those related legal requirements for CE, FCC, etc so stuff doesn't generate harmful RF interference).

It may have some minimal effect, or help if you've got serious noise issues specifically where you are, but I wouldn't bother myself unless you had a specific problem. If you don't have any specific problem and are you're more worried about spikes and surges then maybe I'd buy one of those extension leads with a surge suppressor rather than fit an internal RF noise filter.
