I probably would have done the same :) It's a pity how some people tread the equipment. I do about 15 to 20 shows a year and my amps never looked like this.

i have to admit - my marshall also looked like this...but you know...it was a 8100 and i didn't really care much about its look.

Hi there guys,

I've been a Diezel owner for all of three days now, and I'm absolutely floored by the sheer tone of the thing!

I'm currently in the process of building up a decent rack system, but I thought I'd post some pics of my rig so far:

Even Jordan loves it:

And I have to sneak in a pic of the love of my life:

Cheers to Peter for building an absolutely kickass amp!

I smell the warm odor of another happy Blackmachine lover. :D

Very beautiful guitar you have there.
BTW, I believe that your Mahoghany body is the one that Doug offered for me, but which I passed.

Aha, a fellow Blackmachine-er, I take it you own the spalted F8 then, that really is an awesome top! And yes, I'm so happy in fact, that I've got another two coming :D

It wouldn't surprise me if that was the case with the body, I know it had been in a semi-finished state for well over a year before I adopted it. Think Doug was actually intending it for himself though..

Hehe, if you're not joking, I can send some hi-res ones over. Just PM me or whatever.

Nolly, beautiful pic and guitar! Does it get that sunny in Bath all the time? I was there to visit the Roman antiquities on our tour of Stonehenge. Beautiful town - even met Sting and family!

Cheers man! Wish I could say Bath was always sunny, but that's definitely not the case at the mo! Still, it's a beautiful place to be nonetheless, as I'm sure you saw for yourself.

Cheers dude! I actually tried to make another couple of videos (SikTh - Another Sinking Ship, and Necrophagist - Stabwound) the other day, but I managed to kill my camera's mic by having the VH4 just a tad too loud. Oh dear.

Hopefully my bandmate Pete (PeteyG on youtube) and I are going to do a dual cover of Scent of the Obscene in the near future though, so watch out for that!

Thanks again!

Ahhhhhh that picture is immense!

And thanks man but if I bothered I think I could tab most of their stuff, I've got my own tab website for Nile tabs (http://www.niletabs.netfirms.com) was going to make a Sikth one but haven't played much of their stuff latley, made a piano cover of As The Earth Spins Round's outro very sloppily at https://www.youtube.com/philosoful but I tried ha!

Do you work them out yourself then?

and back on topic, I've hardly seen any 2x12 Diezel cabs, I'm contemplating getting one, inspire me people ;)

Yeah for the most part. For some I've just corrected other people's tabs, and Pin showed me a few bits I had wrong.
If you decide you do want them, just drop me a PM.

Try to get your hands on one of the new 2x12's, preferably with the new speakers. They sound huge. :)

Half the reason being wanting to sell my old one because of the new ones - I saw a video of Clive Jevons I think his name is on youtube and fuck, the difference was immense.

Cool, not quite as good quality as Mr Jevons' videos but still, the mids sound tons tighter  defo going to get one after selling my 4x12 but am unsure on going for a 2 or 4x12.

I think Peter S. mentioned that they were debating on wether to use the new speakers on all cabs...

The 2x12 1/3 open back sounded massive with the new ones - you almost couldn't tell a difference between them and an 4x12's with the GK and V30 speakers. If it's just gonna be the 2x12 with the new speakers, I'd go with a 4x12 though - it still does sound bigger, for lack of a better word...

Bigger - yes; better - I'd argue it. I think one has to try for himself to make a decision. I'd take 2x12 over 4x12 90% of the time.

OK, here it is.
I really hope I'll be able to keep all of them, at least I'm working on it as hard as I can. At this point the only amps I could dream about having would be a Naylor & a Dr Z.

AHAHAHAHAHAHA! -

No asian guys, I bought all of them from the US.
On what level? Think of them as a hybrid of ESPs & Gibsons. They vary from guitar to guitar, there can be some serious differences sometimes (and I'm not talking about the way they look or built). The black one you can see on the right is a monster, I wouldn't change it for anything, you can actually hear the wood singing when you play it unplugged & it's an amazing player. The vintage white one is the exact same model, but it's not nearly as good as the black one, looks nicer though. The tone is very good to great on all of them, playability varies. But Gibsons have the same problem you know, only you can try them & pick a good one. They work perfect for me, however if I was looking for a Gibson, I'd buy a Gibson. The white Orville from early 90s you can see in the pic is pretty damn good Gibson copy actually, if you could find earlier Orville by Gibson models that'd be even better, but the prices for those have gone insane as well as for early Tokais. One thing to notice is that all these Japaneese guitars are copies of earlier LPs, the new Gibson LP line is not the same. In short, IMO, if you are expecting an exact replica, then Edwards is not where you should be looking at.

This one is the JS model with Gibson 490/498. Works great as a replacement for custom & looks killer too, it's one of my favorite guitars after I ditched the SH6s. This one & the 112 model have better tuners too, so they stay in tune for a long time unlike the regular Gotoh tuners; one less thing to modify.

This is the direction I'd take if I was looking for a Gibson for cheap

Nice, Bogner OS 2x12 is fabulous! I had that room full of cabinets & ended up selling all of them. Now I have a lot more room & I've never felt like I'm missing anything.

Yes this 212 is the best cab I've ever played, even all the big (Bogner,CAA,VHT,Rivera...) 412 don't equals it for me !
The perfect cab for the Classic Vintage 30.
I've it, I keep it !!
