I've seen posts about the Tweaker 40 bias test points and 65mVDC spec. Is this the same for the Tweaker 88?

Next, what sorts of things would cause a ceramic disc cap to buzz? C23, 20nF 2kV cap, on the power supply board (between the anodes of D1 and D2) in said amp has an audible buzzing. I have read that Blu Tack or other putties can be used to dampen this type of annoyance. Is that a safe practice or would heating be a concern?

Thoughts?

Hi dronehomeless,

The bias test points are similar for the 40 and the 88, located just a little bit differently, but the set points are different for the two amps. Egnater recommended 65 mV for the 40, and 90 mV for the 88. Check the bottom of this thread for the 88 bias instructions.
