Ok so per some questions yesterday on a few forums and FB groups after posting my PowerCab+ vid, I wanted to see how the PowerCab+ held up at gigging volume as folks wanted to know how it'd do with a drummer.
So, I loaded up my db meter on one of my iPhones and had at it.
The tube rig is my new KSR Gemini, set at where I'd put it for practice/gigging in a decent sized room. It is paired with an oversized 3/4 back 2x12 loaded with a V30/H30 combo.
I then used the same patch in my previous vid and got the PowerCab+ up to the same db levels as the KSR rig.
Outside of some obvious low end response from the 2x12, the PowerCab+ held up well at that level, didn't fall apart tone-wise and the bottom end response is surprisingly good. This is definitely louder than it was set in the first vid.
To be noted, there was a bit more room to go on the PowerCab+ and I did NOT engage the built-in db boost function so more on tap still.

Watch the camera bounce! LOL!
