Bias pots in a solid state rack fx unit?

I was tearing apart my old 1990 Digitech DSP 256 today to FINALLY order the battery that's been dead for years and I was checking out the guts inside and apparently there are 3 trim pots like you'd expect to see in a tube amp for adjusting power tube bias. One is labeled bias, the other msb and the third has no name. Just curious as to what function those would have in a digital fx unit.

The bias is probably for something in the input circuitry. Some solid state pedals have bias for the gain in a circuit, whether it’s a buffer or something to do with the bucket brigade chips.

MSB is short for “Most Significant Bit” in digital things, but I’m not sure why that would be on a trimmer.
