I have an old Rivera Q212 cab that I'm fixing up. It came to me with Celestion Classic Lead 80s in it, and it sounds great. However, the back plate says that it originally had JBL E120 speakers in it. I like the CL80s, but curiosity is getting the best of me. What's the deal with JBL E120s? Seems like they aren't too common and the thought of putting the cab back to stock might be a longshot. Would it be worth finding the original speakers? What can they be compared to as far as Celestion speakers? I'm pretty partial to V30s with the 444 cone specifically. Should I try to seek out a pair of these? Even if not for my own tastes, would the original speakers up the resale value vs aftermarket?
