Yngwie cover band sounded better than Yngwie's real band.

Singer is great. It’s cool to see someone cover these songs. When I was in a band we would do I am a Viking with 2 guitars. It was great...and very difficult.
 
Love that early Yngwie....too bad he didn't stick with Soto way back. His voice fit that material perfectly.

Band is great, Japanese Yngwie is good but not amazing. Boals shines here but he sounded great on Trilogy so he's a natural fit for the dungeons and dragons shit. Good early Yngwie tone though.
 
@OP: Thanks for sharing the video link of Mark Boals performing with the Yngwie tribute band in Japan. Mark is a great vocalist and his style works with Yngwie's music. Kelly Simonz, the guitarist in the video is a talented player and from watching his other YouTube videos is a pretty well rounded rock guitarist. I give Kelly props for his playing & stage presence.
