Valley Arts M Deluxe "tele"

I played one of these at a shop maybe fifteen years ago and thought it was pretty cool, and I just came across an almost minty fresh one that I decided to grab.

This is from the 80s japanese production, which typically is classy stuff. I´ve had a couple of other guitars from the same M line, and they are all very good. This particular model is sort of a cross between a tele and a LP; tele bridge and pickups and bolt-on, but a mahogany archtop and 24.75" scale. It feels like something one of those modern small builders could have designed, or maybe like one of Andersons Cobras or Short Ts.

It has some pretty nice detailing with the fishbone binding, I have to say.

I play HSS and SSS strats with Floyds almost exclusively, so this will round out the stable nicely.

Thanks man! I´ve been looking for something tele-ish for a while, and this one ticks a lot of boxes and looks good doing it too. What I really like is that it´s a proper tele where it counts the most, in the pickups and bridge, and dresses it up for extra fatness with the mahogany and shorter scale.
