Alto TS 312 vs HeadRush 112 obviously you see my budget with these two.

which is "better" using it with a Kemper. maybe run two, r/l
 
Or. If there is a better option for frfr in that 5-600$ range even if it’s only one unit vs two. Offer it up.

I've never tried the alto, but i do have a headrush frfr112 and amh VERY surprised how good it sounds. I had a CLR and currently have two xitones. Im not going to say the headrush is better, but its much closer than I thought it would be. $ for $ the Headrush wins out by a longshot.
 
Back when I had an Axe FX, I had a pair of CLRs. I ended up selling them an got a pair of Alto TS212s. They sounded just as good to me. Saved me a lot of $. I still have the Altos but don’t really use them with a modeler.
