Another legend gone, Cliff Burton's father Ray has passed away. Forgive me if this was mentioned already. He will be missed. My wife and I knew him and she was friends with Cliff and they went to high school together. God bless them both :rock:
 
R.I.P. Ray seemed like the coolest Dad ever. My favorite thing I've ever seen/heard was when he was at the Metallica 30th Anniversary event they did and he was telling the story about Cliff and James getting pulled over by the cops:

 
I just saw him at a show last year at the Fillmore, SF....I hope there is metal shows worth going to when I'm his age. Ray was beyond cool.
