That bass cab i just posted in the other thread had two of speakers in it that i am trying to ID

121620PA and 67-8218 on the magnet. the magnet is square.

and on the inside of the cone there is: 4512411

the cab is from 1971-1972. the other two speakers were different and they were pretty much destroyed.

i see a few sites saying that they are Peavey or Eminence.

both are 14.2 ohm.

They are 12".

i have seen them sell used for $40-$50 + shipping on Reverb. but i am done with reverb, and don't like shipping speakers becuause of the weight, size and shipping cost.

i just want to know a little more before i drop them into an extra 2x12" cab i have sitting around. note i haven't tried them for other than a minute.

also i would like to find the wattage and the frequency response. i am not sure if they are guitar speakers or PA or bass...

also they look really dry and seem like they could be brittle is there anything i could put on the cone to condition them or anything? (if such exists or is even a remote concern.
