Cool. I'll say this about the Axe-Fx. When i listen to the track i can pick out exactly who used a POD. But the Axe....i can't tell it's a modeler. It does blend in with the amps.

Thanks man! Too bad it's out of pocket on the final mix. I have it posted in the Clips thread and it sounds a lot tighter. Oh well, James rocks for doing this.
 
Nice! I was wanting to listen again while looking at a gear list of what was being used. I used a Charvel/Kramer hybrid tele > Ibanez TS 5 > Ceriatone plexi > Ho Ultimate Attenuator > Marshall 1960 BX > Mackie pre/Protools LE Digirack
 
I used a Korina Hamer Standard into a Cameron Jose modded Marshall.

That would be me. :aww: I like my solo and I made sure all my bends were in tune, and all the parts fit the song and built up to a climax. It's my tone that I'm not digging. It doesn't fit with the rhythm guitars, and it sounds kinda weak in the middle of all the other solos.

But what can you do when your daughter is crying and pulling your guitar cord out, right? :dunno:
Next time I'll mic up an amp.

I used to use POD's for clips and i just know "that" sort of Line 6 tone. The Axe-FX has Line 6 beat pretty bad when it comes to sounding like a real amp.

Believe you me, when I can afford an Axe or a nicer tube head for leads, I'll be all over it! :yes: I guess I can get some decent lead tones from my recto, but it's much better for crunchy rhythm stuff. Next time I'll find a better way to record fo sho!

shit....I'm way behind on this forum! :lol: :LOL:

I used BC Rich NJ Classic Bich, into modded DSL50 lead channel, with M13 running 4chan, boost and delay on. This ran into Grendel Deadroom with Eminence Cannibis Rex speaker, mic'd with EV N/D468. All into Sonar 7

EDIT: Bich has Bill Lawrence (Bill and Becky) L500 (non-X) pickup in bridge.

Thanks man.....it's good to hear there's still love for the Lynch vibe. Sometimes I think people get sick of it.....it's all I pretty much know. lol :rock:
