Papa Diezel is building me a cool custom VH4 for NAMM.

This is going to be cool. Peter is building me a tricked out Custom one off VH4 half stack which will be displayed at the Diezel booth at NAMM as a show piece before being shipped back east to my shop.

Features:

White Tolex
Custom Blue Face with White Knobs

Channel Two has a extra gain stage accessed by +/- bright switch toggle (amp will always be in bright mode on channel 2 and the switch will kick in more gain similar to the Herbert +/- switch on channel 2).

White Front Load straight 4x12 cab with white salt/pepper grill cloth.

Custom Diezel ATA Road Cases for both with Diezel Logos. Papa has been given the green light to anything else custom he wants to do to it make it as badass as can be.

Should be the most tricked out VH4 ever made. :rock: and will be the flagship of the Diezel display at my new shop.

Thanks Guys, This is the kind of thing I am going to try to have on hand all the time, just some cool custom tweaked out gear. I have allot of experience custom ordering some cool stuff. Now I dont need to feel bad when I sell it as it is my job. :lol: :LOL:

Will post pics of it from NAMM unless Papa posts some pics before it leaves the Reinland for Cali.

Sounds awesome, since money is no object on this project I think it would look great with a white crocodile pattern tolex like Mesa etc....

That's awesome Brad. I've had mine for a quite a while and use it on every record. One thing the amp fest reaffirmed to me personally is that the VH4 is my favorite heavy amp. To me it is perfect sounding, just the right amount of gain and crunch without fuzz.

custom eh? i'd shoot for ch 1 to have a loose vintage/tight modern switch, ch2 to swing between schmidt bluesy organic and herbert ch 2, everyone seems to love ch 3 as is, and 4 to be very angry herbert ch 3 with a low mid -/+ control.
 
A few years ago he promised me a preamp with motorized knobs ala X99. Can I order this through you? :yes:
