Hi everyone

Finally got my Musicomlab switcher running with my BE100 - pedals such as Phase 90 & Vibe running into the front of the amp switch in ok (no noise) however the pedals running in the EFX loop (timefactor, mod factor) all make a popping sound when I switch them in. Even when I remove them from the Musicomlab, it pops so it leads me to believe its EFX loop/musicomlab related.

I have read this may be associated with the DC on the EFX out & so may be some sort of current related issue?? (https://www.thegearpage.net/board/archiv ... 75376.html)

Anyway wondering if anyone had some ideas or thoughts about troubleshooting this issue??
Thanks in advance.

What era amp is it? Generally on older amps you need to wait awhile for the loop board to come up to full voltage then it will go away with a few switches of the pedal. Or is it a newer amp??

Hi Dave. It's dated May 2011. The issue also occurs when I connect my CAA PT100 amp

Ha! Once again you are right Dave. Gave it a while & clicked a few pops to get everything working - all good now.
Geez that first pop is a little loud, but once that's done the voltage seems to 'normalize' & there's no pops after that.

Cheers & many thanks Dave
