I tried using the loop that way and the clean sounded awful.
I emailed DF who said; turn loop level down and switch off.
Turn the Master to the desired level, switch the loop on and turn up to match the level.
This is unity gain.
Works for me ?
So what did the settings end up being? Where is the loop return set and where is the master set on?
It’s going to depend on how loud you play
Exactly. I was only asking to see what he was setting the mv and loop return levels at. I've never had any problems with any effect interfering with my clean sound. That seems like it's in the effect setting. Damn if I know. Some of this new to me. Have zero problems with the loop or volume either way I set it( lower mv and higher loop return or higher mv and lower loop return level. Sounds pretty identical either way. I guess i could jack up the effect level of the pedal and make it distort so I could be included in the * it sounds better this way.
Regardless, congrats on the amp Kevcleat!! Its a good place to come home to with a BE100 waiting to be cranked.

Thank you for the input.
I put some different pre amp tubes and it sounded fatter.
I love it, blasting out Malcolm Young tonight ??
