Just taken delivery of a Pink Taco. It sounds great but there is a bit of hum.
Is this typical for the PT (my DS is very quiet) given it works the EL84s quite hard?
To put this in perspective its only audible using it at home and would not be an issue at all in a live situation.
I assume the hum is from the power amp as with a gate in the loop (which kills the hiss) the hum is still present.
