BE-100 Master Volume Question

I have a volume question I'm hoping you experts can help me with. On my BE the master doesn't have any sound until about 1. On about 2 it's not super loud but pretty much gig volume. So it has to be on 2 or a little above for descent volume.

My Smallbox gets louder way quicker. Like on 1 it's as loud as the BE on 2 or 2 1/4. My 2203 and 2205 are loud as hell on 1 as well. Do your BE's do the same? Nothing wrong with the tone by any means. Just seems odd and I always feel like something isn't right lol. It may just be the taper on the pot is different.

Actually I need to correct. It's about the same as the Smallbox. I didn't take into the account that my VE 100 is plugged into a Friedman 412 and the small box into aFriedman 212 that is elevated.

So the taper is just different from the Marshalls. No worry I guess.

Turn down the loop volume on the BE and the master wont seem as touchy. Works great.
