Smallbox volume cleanup

Does your Plexi Chanel has a very poor cleanup with the guitar volume?
It’s just me? Could it be my guitar?
My setup is Les Paul -> Smallbox -> Torpedo Live -> studio monitors

Never. Cleans up nicely provided the Pre isn't set too high......common sense don't you know.

But putting anything more than a guitar/cord in front, or after the OT besides proper impedance SPKR is just fucking stupid.

If you JUST have to use a reactive load, at least use a good one like Fryette's Power Station......

WTF? Spend north of $2K on a head or combo and put some crap pedal or bullshit load box on it makes no god damned sense at all.

OR..........If you can't part with your fucking 20 pedal floor monstrosity, just go buy a cheap A$$ high power solid state amp with neutral EQ and be done with it.

OR.......get a Kemper or AXE FX and be done with that. Save your $$$ and don't blow them on any real amps.

You appliance operators need to pull your heads out of your A$$e$
 
In my experience, the more you open the MV, the better you will get it clean on guitar volume down.
