I have an amazing hard to find Marshall 100w super lead with the straight up Jose mod. This amp is amazing sounding and can get that Farmikos sound if desired. This amp also has the tube buffed FXLoop that works great with rack gear and pedals.

This amp is amazing at low volume and very quiet and very easy to gig at smaller places.

Sometimes pulling the Jose master in the out position I will get a weird filtered sound I am discounting the amp because of this and it’s probably an easy fix. When the master is in the in position it’s always perfect.

What does the Jose Master button do in the "in" position as opposed to out? Gain boost one way or another? Any chance of a small clip?

Both master vol positions have diode clipping when the master vol position is in the out position you get slightly more clipping. And unlike most Jose’s master vol’s the two position are closer saturation wise which is perfect.
