Two Note Torpedo Live - heat in the rack?

Hi guys,

I'm using a Mesa SUS-4 rack (a suspension rack). I'd put the Torpedo Live at the top of the rack, so it'll have air flow on the top and both sides. If I'm using one of these with a 100 watt head set for band volumes, do I need to leave a rack space underneath the Torpedo so that it doesn't cook anything else in the rack (Axe FX, etc.)?

Thanks!

Hi cardinal,

the Live takes cold air from the front and send hot air at the back with a silent maglev 4,5cm fan. The upper side of the unit is closed anyway.

If you have any issues, not with the Live making too much heat for the other units but with other units sending to much heat to the Live, put it at the bottom of the rack.

There is no reason for the live to be very hot if you keep a good ventilation on the front and the back (check the user manual to see where the fan grid is located). ;)
