Line Level Attenuation for C.A.B

hello,

I use a Torpedo C.A.B with old school guitar preamps (think Mesa Studio Preamp, ADA MP2, etc.)

I find the line signal out from those is too hot for the C.A.B input (yes the input is set to Line), so was wondering about attenuators...

The XLR barrel attenuator would work but of course I am running TS style jack. I have not seen a TS barrel attenuator, so what are the alternatives?

DI Box with pad, something like the 2Note Torpedo Captor (but the impedance would be too low I imagine?).

some input would be appreciated!

It's a stupid question maybe, but none of your preamps have an output level control?

As far as I know the ADA MP1 has one, the Quad Preamp Mesa has a master level for each channel.

The Mesa Studio Preamp has one, too. The Master Volume controls the send level to the loop, then there are two Output Level controls (left + right) that control the level at both the main outputs and compensated outputs.
