Acoustic Guitar IRS

Hi all

I'm a Torpedo CAB owner, and I'm just wondering if there are any in house Two Notes IRS made specifically for acoustic guitar?
I discovered Sigma third party IRS, and I realize I can probably get away with using a Fender model, but I'm just looking for in house options.

Thanks ahead

Hi sloppyfingers,

our whole system is based around a cabinet and the microphones you use to record it, so the type of product you refer to does not fit, at all, in our model. ;)

So you can try and buy 3rd parties "acoustic IRs", but one of the reasons why I don't plan to release any acoustic IR is simple: without knowing exactly how your current guitar works and sounds, there is no way to change its tone to make it sound like another one with a predictable result. Sure, using an IR will change the tone (it's a filter), but the result is pretty much impossible to guess before trying.

Yes..Got confused for moment..You're correct!..Modelling a FRFR acoustic amp and running it through another FRFR is pointless, hence why Sigma capture the acoustic guitar in a room for their IR'S..I did try out a few of their IR'S through my Torpedo CAB, and they do sound decent, but not radically different vs my cheapo acoustic just being plugged straight into my new Powercab.

Thanks!
