Torpedo Live Setup

I’m having some trouble trying to get a good tone, and I wonder if you can help me out regarding my setup.
I have a Friedman Smallbox connected from the speaker output (with a speaker cable) to the speaker input of a Torpedo Live.

I got an instrument cable going from the Line Out on the Torpedo to the line in on a Samson Mixer.

On the Torpedo Live the input volume is set around noon (hitting the orange on the meter but never red) and my output level is set on +11dB (not clipping on the Torpedo or the mixer)

From the Samson mixer main outputs I got two XLR cables going out to a pair of JBL LSR-305 speakers.

Do you see anything wrong with the way I got my setup?

Hi pedrozepelim,

level output on the Live seems a bit high (or maybe you're using a TS cable and not balanced connection? If so, no big deal but you're losing some dBs in the process, if your board accepts balanced Line level signals).

Your monitors are very small monitors, so you can't really expect bass or real acoustic pressure, I would recommend you compare your Live tracks with isolated tracks from recording you like, to make sure you compare apple to apples;
