Torpedo live into preamp?

Hello, im curious if anyone runs their torpedo live or studio into a good preamp before interface and have gotten good results? I have a clarett 4pre usb and cant seem to get the results i want. Seems like my guitar recordings lack warmth and presence. I have a sovtek mig 100, quilter tone block, and an ampeg svt classic (for bass).

many people do that indeed, keep in mind that the virtual cabinet are captured with different type of preamps depending on who did them. For example the Two notes ones were done mainly with a very clean type of preamp, so you can easily add color afterwards.
