Captor X with Non-Tube Bass Head - How Many Watts?

Hi folks,

So I've got the Captor X, and I frickin LOVE it! I use it on a couple tube guitar amps so far and it's great. I'm termpted to buy a bass amp head to use with some of the bass cab IRs, and that brings up a question. With tube amps the CaptorX limit is 100 watts. Does that limit apply to solid state amps? 100 tube watts is more like 500-1000 solid state watts when you're sitting in the room playing through it. So what are the paramaters I can work within when it comes to solid state bass heads? I see a lot of small heads under 500.00 that might be cool as a desktop thing, but they are all over 100 watts because they are not tube.

Thanks for your informed responses.
