Anyone think agree this is the real deal? Watch the Netflix pandemic and look where we are now. They said the Spanish flu of 1918 took out 4 million people and this is 50x more brutal. Here's a CDC link about the plague that seems like the real deal.

the interesting thing about the spanish flu was that it kind of targeted the younger, healthier vectors of the population. this one-I still don't think it's understood enough. no talk of tamiflu effects on symptoms etc.....Italy is being hammered because I believe they have one of the largest amounts of elderly people in Europe, and very strong family relationships which will aid in exposure of said population. To me the numbers are not adding up to warrant the governmental reactions. unless they are not being totally honest with us.

The Italian numbers can’t be trusted at this point in time. It’s likely they are lumping all deaths in the hospitals due to the virus because of being overwhelmed.

How many Italian fatalities were/are the result of contracting pneumonia, along with the COVID-19 virus?
How many Italian seniors have been vaccinated against pneumococcal pneumonia?
Is "strep" more common in Italy vs other nations?

Pneumonia can be caused by a variety of viruses, bacteria, and sometimes fungi. Pneumococcal pneumonia is caused by bacteria called Streptococcus pneumoniae or strep. S. pneumoniae is also called pneumococcus.

Only 396 cases of COVID-19 in India?

Well if you do not test, of course you will get much smaller numbers of cases confirmed :)

In Italy it's mostly...

-a substantial population of the oldest generation that is exposed to the risks
-people live in households with up to 3 generations (kids are amazing carriers of viruses, one deadly hug to their grandpa...)
-smoking (similar to China) is part of the culture
-socialising is part of the southern culture (similar to Spain)

Now, any state could be hit as severely as Italy. For instance, the amount of people suffering from diabetes and cardiac/vascular disease in the US is stupidly high (western diet).
Figures don't lie...unless you are China who says they had 0 new cases reported and celebrated this as a success only for some of their MDs to come out and say - we had to alter our records at the direct order of the Chinese government.
