VOX AC15C1 keeps blowing the fuse...

Hi there fellow gearheads !

So i've been trying to fix my friend's Vox AC15C1.
He was playing it all night with the impedance switch on 8ohms instead of the 16ohm factory setting for the Celestion Greenback that's in there when it blew some smoke out and quit working.
I opened it up and first thing I noticed was that there were a couple of burnt resistor (R90 and R91) which I replaced. And I mean burnt, beyond recognition...
I also replaced the power tubes with a matched brand new set and the preamp tubes with a good set just to be sure....
Powered it up and tada ! It stays on standby just fine, all tubes glowing normally but as soon as I flip the standby switch to on, it blows the F1 fuse which is labeled HT FUSE on the schematic.
So I rechecked all the resistors and diodes, which all seem ok. I just got ahold of a multimeter that will allow me to test capacitors correctly but haven't done that yet.

Has anybody run into this problem before ? Any input is appreciated !

Thanks
