Volume pot question

I have a 2009 USA Charvel San Dimas that I plan on swapping out the JB bridge pup for a Seymour Duncan SH-5 Custom and the final upgrade I want is to switch out the volume pot to something smoother and friction free. The stock volume pot is not very smooth. My question is which one should I get? I looked at the EVH and it seems nice but I thought I would ask your guys opinion. I want something quality. Oh and the other question is 250K or 500K. Thanks guys. Mike

Bournes 82 pots are awesome. Also, before ordering a new pot, slap a 500k resistor across your current pot to make it 250k...this way you will have an idea what 250k sounds like. Then order a Bourns 82 in either 250 or 500k.
