boss fs5u footswitch question

anybody try to add leds to the boss fs5u footswitch?

the boss fs5l which is a latching type has an led, but it wont work for my fx unless its unlatch or a momentary type switch.
is it possible to install a unlatch type in the fs5u?

unlatching or momentary switches require some type of logic AKA microcontroller to control the relays. So if your foot switch is latching that is a mechanical control not a logic based control. You can probably switch to a momentary footswitch but you're probably going to be lacking any intelligent micro control that can facilitate the on-off of the LED
