What the hell did I fry on my Ibanez bottom booster?

I accidentally connected it to 18v.

The light lights up. There is no guitar going through it, just a high pitch squeal that changes with the volume, gain and tone pots.

It's basically a Ibanez tube Screamer just voiced differently, so if you are unfamiliar, it's basically a ts9 with a different circuit.

Found a schematic online, looks like it has a charge pump in it, LT1044. My experience with charge pumps is they tend to die instantly when overvolted, even very briefly. 18 volts certainly is too much for the LT1044 (or whichever one is in there).

Maybe also some electrolytic caps if they’re rated under 18 volts. Though it will depend where it is in the circuit.

Shit. I think I have a lt1044 around. I will try that if I do. The caps look fine, but I will have to test them.
