I'm at a bit of a loss. When trying to screw in a replacement direct mount pick up, it just won't catch in the body. Sometimes one side will, but not the other. I don't think the holes are stripped as I tried screwing the screws in without the pup and they are okay.
It is basically a direct mount with the little foam pieces on the edges so that you can adjust the height. Are there any easy tricks that don't involved drilling our routing that I can try? Thanks.
