Can’t thank enough yo the great James Lugo for loaning me his great song, ”Around the world” to track this sound file.
I've used my Les Paul Gary Rossington with PAF, straight into a Larry Dino 962, channel 3 with internal boost on, into a Marshall 4x12 with reissue greenbacks.
SM57 and Royer R-121. No post eq, compression or any fx added.
Hope you enjoy and this can bring an idea of how great these amps sound!
Double tracked gtr w/ mix > single guitar centered > double tracked panned guitars > Double tracked gtr w/ mix.

Sounds FANTASTIC SBlue!

I recently did a demo track with my 822 as well - unfortunately, my studio gear isnt anywhere near as nice as yours ;)

You can always tell that "Larry" channel 3 sound though!

Hey Dan
I think your sound file sounds better than mine!!!
Yeah man, that's the signature Larry Dino tone!
Please, feel free to share more details about it, like speakers, mics, guitar, pickups... one thing you probably noticed already is that any little change on the chain, makes a big difference through the Dino. The difference between my two Les Paul, both R-8, one with PAF and the other with Duncan Alnico 2, is so much bigger through the Dino and British Purist than most my other amps!
Anyway, congrats on the killer sounding demo Dan!

You all should check out Daniel's songs on Soundcloud.
He is doing an amazing job at tracking them with his Dino 822.
Not only his sound files are sounding better every time he tracks them, but even his playing is improving quite a bit ever since he started using this amp!
Perfect examples of what these amps can do!

Thanks man! Much appreciated.

The crazy part is how the Larry just sounds good straight off - with most of my amps I have to hipass/lopass, use mic preamps that "color" the sound, elaborate micing technique like fredman clips or phase tricks with room mics...

With my 822, I just close mic an sm57 on axis on the grill and BAM. There's the sound.

This is my newest one:

I was actually responding to SBlue's clip, but I just checked yours out and it also sounds rad

Thanks Devin!
James Lugo was great to loan me his own song session, so I could track the guitars using the amps I wanted to demo.
Cheers!
