That would explain my findings, since I never ran either gate in a loop...always in front of my amps. Funny thing about the NS-2 is that when I would use it in the loop it actually boosted my highs and clarity when engaged.When used in the 4 cable method, that pedal is absolutely surgical...
The Decimator was my pick for when I ran a gate in front of the amp though.
