Torpedo Live repair needed

My Torpedo Live unit broke down all by itself (at least it looks so) - I finished my daily practice session as usual, but next day when I switched my equipment on (I play via Mesa Boogie Mark IV 85w head) I found that there is an extremely low signal level in my headphones (plugged into the unit's headphones output) I could barely hear anything, plus some nasty sounding high pitch hissing noise is constantly in the background. Turning the input level higher did not have any effect until I reached a certain threshold when the volume jumps right from not being audible at all to blasting into my ears nearly damaging the headset's speakers, also extremely distorted.

After some experimenting I also discovered that the unit works totally fine 1-2 seconds immediately after switching it on. After that the aforementioned high pitch hiss chimes in and the output volume level drops to the ground and everything starts sounding like total mess.

P.S. The unit is past its warranty period (by a few months).
P.P.S Bought on Ebay from the seller "altomusicpro".
