I had white one in college in the early 90s. It was a '91 with the newer Edge trem and 5-way pickup selector. IIRC the neck took a little getting used too (thin profile, wide/flat fingerboard), but I remember it being really comfortable and easy to play. I'll probably have to give the trem a tuneup, and I'll be eager to see how I like the existing pickups that are in it:

Nice. I had one for a long time. was a 93 I think. Tone Zone brought that guitar to life. Was really nice.

Nice!, I just scored myself a 540SLTD in 'Purple Neon'. It's my first Sabre so I'm still getting used to it, being mainly a LP player.

I’ve always lusted after a red Sabre after seeing Skolnick play one back in the day.

Nice shredstick!

The S540FM was my first 'expensive' guitar. And after doing a few pickup swaps, once the QM1 and 2 really grew stale on me, I finally settled on the ToneZone bridge as well. Super D was too much and Evo was too bright and direct in the end. Air Norton neck was magic from the get-go, after taking out a PAF Pro neck. Middle is an FS-1.

Still contemplating to upgrade the trem block for a big brass block.
