What 50 watt amp would you guys recommend me for the tone Slash is getting today?

Non Marshall would be fine.

Splawn Street Rod (40W version of Quickrod)
Good call.

And seriously, get a Lester, hit the neck pup, roll the tone back to 2, volume at 10, there's the solo sound. For the 'attack' style power chords and shit, mids high, treble low, gain so-so, there you go - bridge pup at 10, tone at 8 to 10.

doods what about an Orange Rockerverb 50?

I have played this amp many times. There is one at the store I work at. I think you could spend that money on something better like the Splawn Street Rod or something similar.

a guy on here, Brian(Brdango2000) is doing mods that have sounded really good. Search the forum for BFG Modded

This guy gets a great Slash tone imo with a Splawn Quickrod. He's got a bunch of good clips.

I think the Rockerverb now ships with EL34s so that is a +1. I know the 100w version does. I also like the Egnater Renegade.

thanks a lot guys! man that splawn quickrod sounds amazing!

def the best choice for a 50w unless you dont want a 50w Friedman

The Splawn QR can get you close, plus you have the option of running it at either 50w or 100w.

Why not just get the AFD amp? It has a built in attenuator that allegedly sounds very good at any volume level.
