FWIW, I own the "california sound" pedal and it really does sound exactly like the samples on thier website !!!

I was/still am impressed - has a great bass end emphasis & works very well w/ my pod XT pro !!

The only downside is its a little noisy (HISSSSSY) as the gains maxed out.

FWIW, my AMT california pedal actually makes my "so-called" boogie presets on my pod XT actually sound distinctly "boogie-ish"

These new TUBE pedals may be only 1 or 2 trick ponies but if they actually deliver these tones direct to the board - WOW !!!
