Beginner... confusion Captor X

Hello,

Looking for advice, please, as I'm not fully savvy with this sort of tech!

I'm going to be joining a rehearsal this weekend, and it's my first time using a Captor X with my tube amp. It'll be a 'silent' rehearsal, with everyone plugged into a mixer, and we will be listening on headphones. They use digital amps, so I am the only one with this issue.
I've got one XLR port into the mixer... and a Left and Right coming out of the Captor X... I'm a bit confused as to which one of the Captor X's ports I should be using? I'll be using the cabsim, so am I correct that I only need to use the LEFT XLR port to plug into the mixer? And I can leave the RIGHT port empty?

In addition, would you recommend using the grounding switch for this situation?

Thanks for any help! Hopefully the above makes sense

Hi @ljh92

Thanks for reaching out. Ross from Two notes here!

In this situation, please use the Left XLR output and set the device to Dual Mono mode in Torpedo Remote.

In terms of the ground, if you hear any hum or noise, this can be used to mitigate this - so it is a case of texting your enviroment to see whether you need it.

I hope this clears things up but if you have any other questions, please let me know.

Kind regards,

Ross
