I purchased a new PhilX model and really really like the awesome sound coming from this incredible amp...
But I have some serious trouble with the highly praised Friedman FET loop.
All my True Bypass pedals cause a loud popping noise when switching them on and off.
Only my Strymon Flint works perfect due to it's relay bypass switching.
Boss pedals are ok too but even the buffered stuff causing a very small on/off noise but that's ok and easy to handle.
Is this normal? Which pedals are recommended?
Is there a way to mod the loop or the TB pedals?
I also noticed that the FET loop is very prone to the induction of my PedalPower2+.
You carefully have to choose the way of the patch cables. Cables witch run to close to the pedal power take up the hum of the power supply.
Whats your experience?
Any tipps and tricks out there?
