per Jeff's suggestion to glue/screw a 1x2 piece of hard wood diagonally across the back panel of my oversized egnater 1x12 cabinet.
I also took the opportunity to put in the new tone bra (the one that is glued to a plastic speaker ring. the new ones frank sells) and took the one that is screwed on to the speaker grill off. It had looked like a potential place to rattle if it loosened up.
