can someone explain the two diffrent ways of setting one of these up?

i know you can have 4 pre sets across the bottom and then controlling loop for the rest of the foot pedals.

but what is this other way people speak of?

10 presets?

someone enlighten me please :D

Otherwise, you will need to bank up for more presets. The easiest way to approach it, that I find, is if you have all your loops loaded with pedals or amp functions that you are changing a lot, it will be best to have 4 presets per bank. If it is straight amp and a multi-FX rack unit that you are changing presets to, use 10 per bank.

I'd be doing complex switching, no need to access to the loops just patch changes for me, (ie delay times, chorus on off and which boost)

Go 10 then. Sounds like you will be sending CC messages rather than presets.
