Have you noticed some strange compression with dirt sounds?

I've just bought a Torpedo CAB and i think it's great, but maybe due my settings I can hear especially with distorted sounds and rhythm parts a strange effect to the sound..something like compression after the attack note, I'don't know how to explain it better. Do you guys have noticed something like that?
I do use the power amp simulator too…

You can play with the Power Amp section parameters and bring down the volume there while bringing up the main global volume to compensate. Also make sure you are checking the overall volume against the pedal bypassed volume.....a little louder is OK but if it's a big jump you may be overloading something downstream.
