How many of you believe the Earth is flat? Go.......

For scientists, you guys are kind of vague. Anyways, did you note how there was no perceivable curvature in the gofast rocket video? If you slow it down, you see the same curve due to the gopro fisheye lens throughout. If you slow down the video, the earth "curve" transforms between concave and convex to the same degree after the booster is ejected.

Yes... it's better than a lab vacuum. The atmosphere of the moon weighs in total about 10 metric tonnes - and that's over a huge volume enveloping the entire moon. You can say it's basically nothing.

It doesn’t take a scientist to understand that there is not a definitive line in space where an object’s atmosphere abruptly ends. That’s just your understanding

Yes same as defining what a planet is. It's not definitive - it's a spectrum. It's just a convenient categorisation with a definition that was reached by a consensus. It's grey.

No - I accept the current definition of Pluto as a minor planet. There are larger minor planets than Pluto like Eris.

Really the world planet itself is a problem. If we just described objects by their mass, shape, composition and other attributes etc and what body they orbited or don't orbit as the case may be then we'd be more accurate but lose the convenience of having a simple word "planet".,

Is pluto a planet or is it not? What defines a planet? What defines a planet today may not define a planet tomorrow. Today it's a planet, tomorrow it is not planet. Seems purely speculative and "truth" is then defined by consensus, rather than actual truth. Sounds kind of like today's political scene.

Jupiter is just a big bag 'o gas. But maybe there is an earth sized planet in there somewhere. And it's also the biggest planet.
