So i bought a really beatup 7620 on the sevenstring forum, I decided i hated plain black guitars so i wanted to send it out to get refinished after looking at different colors i decided i wanted to go for a swirl but i didnt want some pink, purple green splat of color on the guitar so me and ben eller talked about it and we tryed to go for a classier swirl.
as of right now i order a new: pickups: Crunch lab 7's and liquifires, New nut, lots of floyd upgrades parts for the bridge, and all the uprades for the wirings pots and etc.
Heres the original guitar:

the body will be the same color scheme but with black added, he left black out on the headstock as the ibanez logo will be black and the tuners will complete the whole body color scheme. I cant wait to see the body and the guitar put together updates will come shortly

that looks killer man!! I'm actually doing the same thing right now to a 7 string i've had for years. I'm doing the swirling myself and i got a TON of info from the guys on the forum over at www.theswirling.com

I can't wait to see the end result

I've refinished a few 7s myself (2-7620s and 1-1527), but never done a swirl.

Cool. Is Humanfuseben doing the swirl for you?

I have been following his posts over at hcaf, some look killer but some I was turned off due to how the paint came out. That is the one thing that stopped me from getting my 1527 swirled, it is not an exact science.

Indeed Ben Eller= Humanfuseben on the seven forum!
Hes been nothing but amazing to work with, As for how the paint comes out after clear coat and all they look as smooth as marble.
