My Herbert is making some strange crackling sound when the volume is a little loud. Can anyone refer me to someone in the Dallas Texas area to look at it?

Not related to your question but.. have you tried to replace the tubes first? Your problem seems to be the typical tubes problem.

Yes, I have thought about that, but don't know where to go to have the tubes replaced or where to buy them. Do you have any online links you send me. Also, do you know which tubes go where?
