Hey guys,

Mesa Mark IV R2 channel, 1st half of the clip is straight into the amp except for a Boss RV3 pedal in the loop to add some delay/ambience. Graphic EQ is not engaged at all, and the pull fat on R2 is not engaged either. 2nd half of the video I step on an OCD pedal for a little juice boost.

Please don't mind the sloppy playing.

Sounds pretty good, how loud was it recorded? It sounds like it was pretty quiet....crank it up!!!!

Thanks! It was very quiet, you can hear the strings when I hit the chords, basically "bedroom" volume going on.

Sounds pretty good, the early part has that slightly harsh high end that I often struggle with on the R2 channel. I really like the OCD boost into R2, sounds great. I have been thinking of getting an OCD.

Does that boss RV3 sound better than the stock reverb on the mark IV?

Hey Blackba,

Thanks for the feedback.

The Boss pedal is colder sounding to me but doesn't sound as muddy as the IV's built in reverb can sound depending on circumstances of course.

I never had any issues with the IV's reverb on the clean channel, only on the gain side did I somtimes have some problems. :)
